Senior Home Inspection Program (Project SHIP)

The Huntington Beach Fire Department sponsors the SHIP Program, where volunteers conduct free home fire safety inspections for seniors in the city. If you are at least 60 years old and a resident of Huntington Beach, you qualify for this Program. You can get a free smoke detector with a 10-year battery and a carbon monoxide detector installed while supplies last. If you are interested in a fire safety inspection, and/or having a free smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector installed, please complete the information below or call 714-375-1615. Once you submit your request, please allow 2 weeks for a volunteer to contact you and schedule your inspection. If you need additional information, please call 714-536-5411.
