Free CPR classes are available to Huntington Beach residents who are members of the Huntington Beach Fire Department FireMed Program.  These classes follow the guidelines of the American Heart Association, and a two-year Heartsaver certification is issued to each student.  Information provided by the classes include:

• Adult and Infant CPR
• Heimlich Maneuver
• General First Aid and Earthquake Preparedness

Your FireMed membership allows every person in your household to attend these classes for free under the one-time annual cost of just $60!  The class cost for Huntington Beach residents who are not members of FireMed is just $60, and includes a household membership in the FireMed Program. 

Registration is required for these classes, which are three hours in length and taught in the Huntington Beach area.  The exact location of the class is given at the time of enrollment confirmation.  This procedure allows us to accommodate the class with enough instructors and mannequins for the benefit of the students who are learning this important lifesaving skill.

• Wednesday, May 14th at 6pm to 9pm
• Wednesday, June 11th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, June 21st at 9:30am to12:30pm
• Wednesday, Jul 9th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, Jul 19th at 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Wednesday, August 13th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, August 23rd at 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Wednesday, September 10th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, September 20th at 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Wednesday, October 8th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, October 18th at 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Wednesday, November 12th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, November 22nd at 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Wednesday, December 10th at 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday, December 20th at 9:30am to 12:30pm
