Carr Park is located on the corner of Heil Avenue and Springdale Street. This park was dedicated on April 8, 1972 and named after Chris Carr who was a World War II Medal of Honor winner and longtime Huntington Beach resident. Carr Park is surrounded by a friendly Huntington Beach neighborhood with plenty of open space is provided for passive recreation. Benches are located on the perimeter of the lake for visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Picnic tables with nearby grills make family picnics easy and comfortable.
