Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration 05-05 Newland Street Improvements
The applicant, the City of Huntington Beach Public Works Department, proposes to widen Newland Street from Pacific Coast Highway to Hamilton Avenue, widen the reinforced concrete bridge at Huntington Channel, install storm drain improvements in Newland Street, and raise the profile of Newland Street to improve traffic visibility. A complete description of all project components can be found in Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 05-05. Coastal Development Permit No. 05-07 is required in conjunction with this project.

Start and end dates of the public comment period (§ 15087(c)(2))

The Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration will be available for public review and comment for thirty (30) days commencing Thursday, July 20, 2006 and ending Friday, August 18, 2006.

Any person wishing to comment on the Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration may do so in writing within the thirty (30) day comment period by providing written comments to:
